Football: Algeria’s Antar Yahia Yearning To Play Against Egypt
The Algerian international Antar Yahia has said that he is hoping that he does not miss out on Algeria's upcoming World Cup qualifying match against Egypt.

Bochum defender Antar Yahia has told an Algerian sports magazine that he is doing everything he can to be in top shape for the Fennecs’ crucial World Cup qualifying match-up versus continental champions Egypt on June 7 in Blida stadium.

The talented Algerian player missed out on his national side’s goalless draw with Rwanda in Kigali on March 28 through injury.
-
Ironically, the former Nice player returned to training one day prior to the start of the qualifying campaign after a six week spell on the sidelines with a knee problem.
-
“I hope that what happened before the Rwanda match doesn’t reoccur. Believe me, I won’t be able to stand missing a match against Egypt. I’m doing my best not to get hurt again,” he explained.
-
“This doesn’t mean that I’m saving my energy or not giving my all to my team. It’s the opposite, I give all that I have but I am a little bit more cautious and I try not to risk too much so that I don’t get injured once more.”

Antar Yahia has represented his country Algeria 34 times, scoring four goals for the Fennecs.
