Former “FATIA” plant transferred to the defense ministry

The Algerian government has decided to create brand new company to develop car industry. This industrial and commercial company will be affiliated to the defense ministry and cherish a financial complete independence.

•  The firm’s facilities are set to be planted in the region of Ain Boucheggouf, Tiaret (western Algeria) and several production units and subsidiaries could be created in various parts of the country.
• According to the last presidential decree the company’s real estate properties will be the previous “FATIA” project ones transferred to the defense ministry.
• The company’s administration board will chaired by the defense minister or one of his representatives, while representatives from different military bodies, intelligence services, national gendarmerie command, interior ministry, energy and mines and industrial ministries, will complete  the future administrative board.
