Former minister slips through the Swiss justice

The former minister of state and current leader of the political party “Movement for Society of Peace” Abu Djerra Soltani was yesterday forced to leave Geneva, Switzerland, fleeing through the French borders following an arrest warrant issued by the public prosecutor against him, reliable sources revealed.

• The human rights organization “Terial” lodged a complaint against the MSP leader accusing him of being involved in cases of torture.
• Abu Djerra Soltani, who was yesterday homeward bound coming from France, was invited by the Geneva- based Islamic League to give a seminar on Friday. On his way out from the mosque after the Friday prayer alongside his wife, the leader was insulted by a group of prayers, the same sources added.
• Following these unexpected events, the MSP leader was forced to book in another hotel and postpone his seminar to Sunday 11.40 am. But at the opening of the proceedings, the Islamic League was informed through a message sent by Abu Djerra Soltani that he couldn’t give his seminar for “Private Purposes”.
• Before proceeding to the issue of the arrest warrant, the Swiss prosecutor contacted the Swiss Foreign Affairs Ministry to know whether Abu Djerra had a diplomatic immunity and his actual official position. After being informed that the leader didn’t posses a diplomatic immunity and was not holding an official position within the Algerian government, the prosecutor has immediately issued a warrant against him.
•  It should be noted that the Swiss prosecutor has called-up Abu Djerra Soltani last Thursday while he was on the Swiss soil, after doing the same last week with the so called “Nouar Abdelmalek” as part of investigations dealing with “torture”.
• “Echourok” yesterday tried to contact Abu Djerra soltani in a move to get his version of facts, but all attempts were unsuccessful, knowing that the former minister was still under the choc of this unexpected event that occurred in the country of peace and security.
