France's Recruits In Algeria Liberation War To Receive Millions Of Euros Annually
Some 879,413 former French soldiers are still receiving pensions for their duties in the Algerian war at the end of December 2016, which is equivalent to 85% of France’s pensions of French war veterans that are estimated at 1.5 million pensions, while France’s Recruits in the War of Liberation reach about 7 billion and 900 million euros a year, which is more than 107.000 billion centimes in national currency.
