Gaddafis’ move from to Oman is an Algerian affair, says Ali Zidane
Libya‘s Prime Minister Ali Zidane said the situation of the Gaddafis is an Algerian-Omani affair and authorities in Tripoli have nothing to do with it. Foreign ministers of the three concerned countries will examine the matter and will issue an official join release.
“Algeria is a sovereign country. Because of that, it was impossible to argue with it about the Gaddafis’ situation. What the Libyan authorities can do now is to ask countries where the former regime’s symbols took refuge to extradite them with the help of the Interpol,” Zidane told Echorouk.
Speaking about Algerian interior minister Dahou Ould Kablia’s remarks, he said security coordination between Algeria and Libya did not sufficiently developed but it was improved.
“Libya made a plan against weapons spread. Revolutionaries will be integrated in security forces,” he added.
Zidane believes that relations between Algeria and Libya are at a “good level.” “I talked with Algerian Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal. We said bilateral relations are very good. The same statement was made when I was received by Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika,” he said.
Members of the Libyan police are expected to take a training session in Algeria.
