Gaid Salah: “Army is performing its constitutional duties”

National People’s Army is performing its constitutional duties, completely and optimally in all circumstances, to achieve important goals by making more efforts on more than one level, in line with the national defense policy, and the requirement to strengthen the basic pillars and components, Maj. Gen Gaid Saleh, Vice Minister of National Defense, and Chief of Staff of the National People’s Army said on Wednesday, during a meeting which he held at the National Preparatory School for Engineering Studies, in the presence of commanders of the military training institutions, at the level of the leadership of the troops, the directorates and central departments.
“Important sacrifices were made by the Algerian people during the glorious revolution, which must be a light that illuminates the path of army recruits, and that will always remain the moral motivation that supports them, and is an incentive for students who represent the future men and women in our country”.
“These are important purposes that deserve making unremitting and continuous efforts on more than one level under the guidance of President Bouteflika, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Minister of National Defense, in line with achieving the aspirations of the National People’s Army which are represented mainly in the full and optimal performance in all situations and circumstances of the great and sensitive constitutional tasks that are entrusted to it”.
“Military institution is determined to provide various forms of care and attention in the field of training, so as to ensure the empowerment of the system to train the army by reaching the envisaged objectives, that are mainly represented in carrying out the task very effectively for the graduation of military personnel in different categories and disciplines and levels, to become able to respond to the requirements of cognitive, scientific and technological progress, and awareness of the realities and requirements of defense and national security”.
