Gaid Saleh: people will stand against conspirators

General Gaid Saleh Tuesday said Algerian people will stand as a solid wall against anyone who tries to exploit elections for purposes against Algeria’s higher interest.

“Ahead of those pivotal elections, I seize the opportunity of my visit to the National Gendarmerie commandment to say once again that the Algerian people faithful to their history will not allow to hit their safety and stability,” a release issued by the national defense ministry said quoting Gaid Saleh.

“Thanks to young people’s awareness, the Algerian people will know how to be a solid wall against anyone who plans to exploit this important national event to reach objectives in contradiction with the country’s higher interest,” he added.
