Gas OPEC to be declared on April conference in Algeria

Some European and American countries expressed their fears about the failure of the sixteenth conference of gas to be hosted in Oran, west of Algeria, during the third week of next April in order to announce the establishment of “Gas OPEC ” and underline a program for incorporation in Iran, Qatar, Russia and Venezuela in the future, as it is a company which brings together the largest gas exporting countries in the world.

• Preparations for the Sixteenth Conference of the Gas to be held in Oran, west of Algeria, next April got special attention by the president Bouteflika, who is expected to protect Algeria’s wealth through the success of the initiative to establish the “OPEC gas” by five gas exporting countries spearheaded by Russia, Iran, Algeria, Qatar, and Venezuela, which inevitably will end up by forming a new large axis in the world that will compete even Europe and USA.

• Echorouk sources said that what happens in the hydrocarbon sector, namely SONATACH including investigations and scandals will not affect the conference, according to confirmation by both the Minister of Energy and the acting General Manager of Sonatrach in charge of conducting and preparing for the conference.

• Bouteflika is expected to visit the infrastructures and institutes in order to receive the delegations of the conference as it was planned.
