General staff of Bouteflika's campaign meets here on Thursday

Leadership of the General Staff of Bouteflika’s presidential elections, is holding its first meeting after it complained on Tuesday, to fix the agenda of the electoral campaign and devise the roles on their nine members, pending PM Abdelmalek Sellal’s joining the eight personalities who were chosen by President Bouteflika, in order to be his assistants in activating his campaign.

Echorouk sources said the meeting of the body which was called the “General Staff” of bouteflika’s electoral campaign, will take place today in Algiers Al Biar, as the former PM, and former RND General Secretary, Ahmed Ouyahia, will meet with his successors Abdelkader Ben Saleh,  abdelaziz Belkhadem , and Amar Saadani, and former head of the Constitutional Council, Boualem Bessayeh, and head of the National People’s Council, Mohamed Al Arbi Ould Khelifa.

The meeting will also be attended by Amar Ghoul, head of Amal Al Jazair (Algeria Hope) party, and Amara Ben Younes, head of the Popular Movement.

Echorouk sources added that the leadership staff that is headed by Abdelmalek Sellal, who will resign from his post to join the Central Directorate of Boiteflika’s Electoral Campaign, will do prepare a plan in the meeting to devise the activity, and devise the Wilayas that will form a step for everyone of those personalities to organize large meetings on behalf of the president Bouteflika.

“It seems that the president will not be present in any activity of the G9 that will focus on the large axes of planing and supervision, while the directorate of media that will be supervised by the RND leader, Abdessakam Bouchouareb”.
