German economic delegation seeks investment opportunities east of Algiers

The German economic delegation, which visited on Sunday Tizi Ouzou and Echorouk's local bureau in the same city east of Algiers, said that the lack of fresh German investments in Algeria is due to the bad image which the German investors and companies have about the conditions regulating the environment of investments in Algeria.

    

  • This investment delegation which contains the Algerian-German Economic Consultation Bureau “Unicon Global Consult” and the managers of “Knurr”, working in the field of the high technologies, particularly techniques, fields of security, cars factory, electronics, transport, industry, medicine and assurances.
  • The economic delegation visited first the bureau of the National Democratic Assembly “RND” in Tizi Ouzou then the industrial zone of Tizi Rached, and then moved to the zone of activities in Larbaà Natherathen, where they were fascinated by the nature of the region as well as the economic and human capacities there.
  • The visitors confirmed that the experience by some German companies in the region, especially in the field of manufacturing the households, need some development because of the modern technologies that are achieved in this area.
  • “Our visit to the region is a starting point to link the Algerian and German cultures, particularly in the field of the productive investment and to create new jobs for the youngsters who need such an opportunity in this region”, General Manager of Knurr ( The leading company in the field of electronics) says.
  • Knurr’s General Manger also promised to bring the German technology in the various areas to the region in order to make of it an important place, as the Germans will focus, in their first investments, on composition then production, and then exportation towards the rest of the African countries.
