Ghardaia events: Security plan reviewed in the city

A meeting that was held on Monday by the interim Prime Minister, Youcef Yousfi and the Interior Minister, Taib Belaiz, and the Commander of the National Gendarmerie, Major General Boustila, concluded to reviewing the action plan, the deployment and updating it, and redrawing a new security plan to restore the order and calm to the region as soon as possible.
Sources from the National Gendarmerie of Ghardaia (southern Algeria), told Echorouk that 600 additional Gendarmes, arrived on Sunday night to Monday to Ghardaia, following the instructions of the Interior Minister, Taib Belaiz, while the General Ahmed Boustila entrusted the tasks of the central joint operations to the Brigadier Abdawi.
Same sources added that the services of the National Gendarmerie intervened on Monday, to stop the clashes in Ghardaia from Sunday night to Monday in four neighborhoods: Ben Samara, Dahmani, Malika, and Haj Messaoud.
Agents of the National Gendarmerie were placed in each of the central market and the ancient market, as the joint security plan between the security services was updated, and the commander of arms, Major General Ahmed Boustila, entrusted the functions of the center of operations to the services of the National Gendarmerie, as well as the investigation in the events that were experienced by the state of Ghardaia, especially after the murder of three people, as investigations were launched to put an end to the conflict in the region.
