Ghardaia events: Two citizens died, desecration of the national flag in public

Nacer was shot dead by a rifle at the face during clashes between the two conflicting sects in the city of Kaf Hamouda.

Murderer was arrested while another person, Hadj Chabane Hassen, 42, father of two,  was killed by a knife in the city of Lakine, during the deadly clashes in Ghardaia. 

Over 45 people were injured with different wounds in the streets war in Marmade, bringing the number of killed to ten people since the events erupted in the Wilaya, while 14 people were arrested in the recent days.

Another escalation and bloody night erupted in Ghardaia and Berriane on Saturday after using fire arms, as the emergency service was crowded with injuries after deadly clashes in all of the cities of Sidi Abbaz, Malika and Mermade, which noticed an attack by the masked gangs.

Clashes noticed the use of all kinds of white arms, resulting the death of Hadj Chabane Hacen, who died in the hospital of Terchine Ibrahim, as 8 injuries are classified as dangerous due to causing permanent disabilities, as well as burning four houses.

Masked gangs in the same city desecrated and burned the national flag in public.

Echorouk sources said that most of the injured suffer fractures in various parts of the body, while three people got their eyes fogged by knives and iron projectiles.

Emergency services at Terchine Ibrahim, received an elderly whose body was burned by a traditional made bomb, and another woman who aborted due to the terrifying events.

Over 10 houses were also burned in Ahbas and Aouchour like the houses of Sekouti, Kemaz, Chekhar and Alouani. 15 people were dangerously injured due to nails and toxic metal parts.
