Good Country Index: Algeria Ranks In The Bottom
Algeria ranks, along with some Arab countries, in the bottom of the world ranking indicator of good countries for the year 2016.
It ranks 145 globally among 163 countries, according to the rating that takes into account the spread of science and technology, culture, security, peace and health that is offered in the countries to their citizens.
Good Country index is based, in the report that is published on its website, on several criteria that is related to health and safety, technology, security and culture, based on data, figures and statements that are issued by the United Nations and the World Bank, and other international organizations.
Same index is provided by each country from 163 countries across the world for humanity, raising the question about the classification that is granted to Algeria compared to other Arab countries, including the neighbouring countries and Middle East countries.
Tunisia ranks 48 and top of Arab countries in the Good Country index, followed by Lebanon 45, and other countries such as the UAE, Jordan, and Egypt which ranked 54, and even Morocco ranked 73, while Algeria ranks globally 145.
The ranking conclided with Libya which ranked 163, as the European countries occupy the top of ranking as the best countries, and Sweden ranks first, followed by Denmark, the Netherlands, Britain, Germany, Finland, Canada, France and Austria.
