Government to create 65 thousand jobs in 2012
The government has officially endorsed a plan to create 64959 new jobs during the year 2012, less than the 65 thousand jobs created last year. Two-thirds of the overall jobs will be dedicated to the sectors of health, higher education and local authorities.

The president has endorsed the plan for the creation of these jobs according to a schedule drawn by the public service directorate in coordination with the different ministerial sectors.

The operating budget of the upcoming year will witness a rise on account of various reasons including the enactment of the compensation systems retroactively and those decided during the year 2001.

The budget has , in this respect, risen by 4.7% in comparison to the last financial law and the operating budget by 3.10 % if compared to that endorsed last year.

The total cost of the expenditures has reached 7428 billion Algerian Dinars mostly designed to conduct the social policy and finance the five –year developing plan initiated by the president.
