Great press attendance at launch of Saber Al Riba’i’s album

The famous Tunisian artist Saber Al Riba’i held a press conference at the Rotana Café in the center of Beirut last week to launch his latest album.

  • According to the London daily Elaph, the poet Nizar Francis and director Basem Christo attended the conference.
  • Saber began with a welcoming speech and then ‘Rotana’ manager of art affairs Toni Soman talked about the importance of Saber’s great voice as a member of the ‘Rotana’ family.
  • Saber said that ‘Rotana’ gives him great freedom in choosing his songs and that his relation with the company is very good. He also denied the accusations that ‘Rotana’ gives priority to certain artists.
  •  Some journalists were surprised to the new album launched at Rotana Café, instead of a famous hotel or resort like the large celebration that was held for Lebanese artist Haifa Wahb marking her new contract with the company.
  • Saber said that he wanted a simple meeting with the press and once he renews his contract with ‘Rotana’ he wil hold a celebration. Saber will renew his contract with ‘Rotana’ during the summer season.
  •  On other grounds, Saber left Beirut for Saudi Arabia to promote his new album. He will return to Beirut to participate in the famous music talent show “Star Academy” on 22 May 22.
