GSPC launches a video tape aiming to recruit Algerian youngsters
A video tape prepared by the Salafist Group for Preaching and Combat also known as Al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb, shows in its second part of the “Virgins Loversâ€, seen by Echorouk, for the first time children who were born and grew up in the strongholds of the terrorist group.
-
The children appeared in the video, the oldest of whom is 13 year old carrying a an FMPK weapon with 30 bullets called Abou Dedjana Sofiane, who was accompanied by an 8 year-old Moad Abou Abdessalam and a 5 year-old Ossama who were carrying two Kalashnikovs difficultly on the prairies, confirming their existence in the strongholds of the terrorist group.
-
-
The video also shows the 13 year-old Abou Dedjana calling for young people to join the armed activity and implement suicide attacks.
-
-
The video confirms that the children who were born in the wild mountains are very few and may be children of the terrorists who refused to surrender and benefit from the national reconciliation, on the grounds that many of the terrorists’ families joined their relatives, including children after the reconciliation’s measures, while others were sent by the terrorists after they felt their families are a burden in light of the continuing moves to escape from the intensive military operations by the army forces.
-
-
However, the video tape carried a message the GSPC tried to direct through the second part of “Virgins Lovers” consisting of recruitment of young people in the suicide attacks, thing that was clear through “Portraits” of seven former suicide bombers.
-
-
“Commandments” were also directed to the young recruited or those who will join the terrorist group in order to participate in the suicide bombings.
-
-
The video tape confirms information published previously in Echorouk about the difficulties the GSPC found particularly luck of recruited young people.
-
-
Author of the video tried to focus on the volunteered suicide bombers and how they are convinced to implement the suicide attacks through participating in the preparation of car bombings.
-
-
The video started with a speech by the Sheikh Abou Yahia Allibi, who was wearing a “Bornus” putting his hand on a dead man who was lying on the ground, saying “He is our leader and sheikh” without revealing his identity.
-
-
Abou Yahia Allibi appeared several times in the video compared to Ossama Ben Laden, leader of Al Qaeda, who appeared only once, while excerpts from Ayman Azawahiri’s speeches were shown in every suicide attack in Algeria which was adopted by the GSPC after joining Al Qaeda and changing its name to “Al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb”.
-
-
Other scenes show Allibi as an important man of Al Qaeda because he appeared refuting arguments by Muslim scientists who criticized the suicide bombers in Algeria.
