National People’s Army has constitutional functions, Deputy Minister of National Defense, Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army , Major General Ahmad Gaid Saleh, told the senior staff of military training, on Wednesday at the Military Academy of Various Weapons in Cherchel.
“It has a pivotal and fundamental role in the fight against terrorism”.
“National People’s Army promised before Allah to work tirelessly and hardly in accordance with the authorized constitutional functions, along with all the security sectors, and all the good people among the nation’s sons, to relentlessly pursue to achieve them.”
“Efforts have been made in the fight against terrorism and work to restore security continues. National People’s Army vigorously continues its work under the directives of the President, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, Minister of Defense, for the task of contributing effectively to the restoration of security. We will confront with full force anyone trying to threaten and disturb the peace of our people, by purging the land of Algeria of Conception of criminal terrorism that tarnished the crust of this honorable country, and abused intentionally the long history and cultural heritage of civilization, historical and glorious revolution.”
