Guedioura, Boudebbouz, Belaid and Ziaya capped by Saâdane for 2010 World Cup
Abdelmalek Ziaya
Authorized sources from the Algerian Football Federation (FAF), have revealed to Echorouk the definitive line-up of the Algerian national football squad due to take part in the upcoming World cup tournament in South Africa starting from next June. The final touches to the final squad roster will be brought by the technical staff in close conjunction with the FAF Federation in the next few days.
-
The same sources told Echorouk that the 4 professional players, namely Guedioura of Wolverhampton in England, Boudebbouz of the team of Sochaux, Ziaya the striker of Djeddah, and Belaïd of the French squad of Bologne have officially secured their slot within the 23 players of the Algeria football squad whose names will be made public by national coach Rabah Saâdane by the end of this month or in early May.
-
Adlane Guedioura, aged 21, is the son of the former center-forward of USM Algiers in the late 70’s and early 80’s, Nacer Guedioura. He is a promising name for the future of the national squad.
-
Adlane Guedioura is highly regarded as a midfielder with his current English Premier League team of Wolverhampton and could be a major asset in the Algeria midfield besides Hassen Yebda, Mourad Meghni, Yazid Mansouri and Mehdi Lahcen.
-
Furthermore, the Algerian fans will welcome again with relief the deserved comeback of Abdelmalek Ziaya within the Greens.
-
This son of Guelma is shining currently with the Saudi team of Ittihad of Djeddah by scoring as usual several winning goals.
-
This list will surely include the most renowned Algerian football player at the moment in France namely Riadh Boudebbouz who has achieved a brilliant performance as a second to none striker with the Sochaux outfit.
-
The officials of the French football federation have repeatedly sought to integrate him into the French national line-up but Riadh Boudebbouz has firmly opted for his motherland, Algeria, by eventually joining the “Desert Warriors”.
-
Last but not least, the seasoned defender of the side of Bologne in France, Lahbib Belaïd, will for his part beef up the defensive line of our national squad by bringing it a genuine quietude.
-
Since the kick off of the current football season, the eyes have been riveted on this talented Algerian defender who could bring a lot to the Algeria squad’s defense line together with Bouguerra, Antar Yahia, Rafik Halliche and Nadir Belhadj.
