Lazhar Hadj Issa, started his first training session Friday morning with the English premier League club of Portsmouth as part of a series of tests he conducted with this squad. The testing period will end up today.

• The “Arab Baggio” moved Thursday evening to England accompanied by his manager, in order to visit the club’s headquarters.
• Hadji trained Friday morning even though he was fasting. He was accompanied by three other new players, who joined Portsmouth recently in order to conduct tests before the end of the transfer season in the European championships.
• Waiting for the final decision of the club manager Paul Haart, Hadj Issa is expected to watch the next match of Pompey against Manchester City for the third phase of the English league.
•  According to sources close to the player, the possibility of signing for the English club seems probable because of the squad’s weak midfield. The new players who are subjected to tests are all strikers and defenders, a thing which enhances Hadj Issa’s chances to be recruited.
• The amount of money for Hadj Issa’s transfer to Portsmouth was fixed at 500.000 euros.
