Haifa’s wedding will not be aired live

According to the London daily Elaph, the famous Lebanese artist Haifa Wahbe recently released a statement denying recent media reports that her wedding will aired live on television.

• Haifa denies reports that she negotiated with a number of satellite channels and marketed the wedding to be aired live. Haifa said that the rumors are false, and that Haifa wants a private wedding and also wants the guests to feel comfortable.
•  Haifa’s office also said that the wedding will be far away from camera lenses and only a few friends and family members of the bride and groom will be invited.
• Haifa’s wedding will be on 24 April.  She is marrying the Egyptian businessman Ahmad Abu Hashima.
