Hanan Turk going through a divorce

The young Egyptian actress Hanan Turk revealed that she did get married and gave birth a few weeks ago to a baby boy, Muhammad, and is now getting a divorce.

• Turk said that she did get married according to Islamic beliefs.
•  “My marriage was not a secret, but rumors began spreading in the media that it was a secret marriage because I was away from the spotlight for a long time,” said Turk.  “No one even called me to ask whether the rumors were true or not.”
• Ten months ago Turk married an Egyptian businessman 11-years her senior that lives in London. The couple met in London at an Islamic seminar.
•  The couple was married for only one month and then quietly decided to get a divorce. Turk returned to Egypt, already pregnant with Muhammad.
•  After returning to Egypt, Turk started filming her new television drama series “Hanem Bint Basha” (Daughter or a Pasha) while she was pregnant. She also filmed scenes from the movie “Ibrahim Al Abyad.”
