Head of the judicial police: work of intelligence will be activated

Commanders of the teams to combat drug smuggling finished last Wednesday their training in the fight against drug trafficking in the institute of Criminal Sciences belonging to judicial police, the first Police rector, Ladj Hamid, also director of the judicial police at the general directorate of the national security said. 

•  The Director of police also told Echorouk Thursday that the work of intelligence must be activated in order to confront these criminal gangs. The training of the commanders of teams of combating drug smuggling came after the achievement of positive results after we used information which made it possible to penetrate the networks and arrest the barons.
• “The hard drugs like the crack are sold in the rich areas because they are expensive 1gm exceeds 12.000 dinars. They can not sell them in the popular areas where the young men buy the cheap drugs in order to forget their daily problem”, Mr.Ladj said.      
• Previously, Security sources revealed on the strengthening of security measures along the Algerian southern borders with Mali, Mauritania, Niger and Chad and supported the existing security plan.
• The same sources said all the actions and measures to combat smuggling operations have been taken, and the means of control on the borders were prepared as well.
