Services of the Civil Protection recorded over 10 fires in Jijel and Skikda, east of Algeria, Tipaza and Tizi Ouzou, east of Algiers and Ain Defla, west of Algiers, because of the recent high temperatures in many Algerian localities which will continue until the beginning of next week.

• The national office of the climate monitoring expects a very hot week end. High temperatures also caused case of death among people with Asthma and elderly.
• Spokesman of the NOCM said the fires due to the hot weather which came from the canaries towards the Mediterranean.
• The General Directorate of the civil protection called the citizens to take protective measures, particularly people who live in forests and mountains, as well as respecting the rules of safety when they go to forests for the entertainment.
• hspitals have received many cases of asthma and elderly in the various Algerian regions because of high temperatures, and doctors advised them avoid being exposed to sun and have a both everyday and drink a lot of water.
