Higher Education Ministry sets deadline for university students to complete their research papers
Estimates released by the National Committee for the Evaluation of University Research Topics revealed that 3175 research papers are still underway in both Master and PhD levels. Students were given less than a year to finish their academic projects.

The Higher Education and Scientific Research Ministry has approved 1306 statements of purpose presented by students, while another 4039 Master’s research papers and 3266 PhD ones are still pending, the same sources revealed.

Several specialities registered delays in the completion of the students’ dissertations including the Natural Sciences department with 388 unfinished papers, followed by the department of Physics which counts 257 projects, Chemical Science with 361 research papers, while 10 projects in Communication Science are still unfinished.

Most of the Master and PhD papers are registered in the Natural Science speciality with over 465 research papers, while the highest rate of the PhD’s letters was registered in the speciality of Electronics with some 530 papers.

By contrast, there isn’t any research paper for the time being in the Berber Language and Foreign Languages institutes.
