Hundreds Of Algerian Pilgrims Wasted Luggage In Airports

At least 20 travel agencies suffer from the loss of baggage of pilgrims, who looked, Sunday, at the top of their anger, because of their access to the holy sites without baggage, which made the members of the office of Yousef Azzouza sleep in Djeddah airport waiting for bags, both which were not sent from the Airports of Algeria or those that stayed in the Djeddah airport, or returned from Djeddah airport to another destination, Echorouk sources said.

This is what happened with about forty pilgrims who are still living, since Friday evening, coming from Houari Boumediene airport in the capital, a journey to find their belongings, as they were surprised when their luggage did not arrive, to the Saraya Imane hotel in Adjyad Street in Makkah.

Algerian Pilgrims told Echorouk that their lack of belongings hampered the performance of the rituals, especially that they are waiting, despite the assurances that they received from some members of Annadjah agency that is supervising on their journey to the Holy Sites, as they have entered ihraam, and put on the Ihram garments, both in Algiers airport or in Air Algérie plane, and some of them performed Umrah, then wasted the clothes, and stayed with the Ihram clothing throughout the period, and some of them disrupted the performance of Umrah, in search of luggage, which contains the medicines, some food and other things.

Incident of losing baggage according to pilgrims occurred during the transfer from the plane, once its reached Djeddah airport in the transition zone from the tanker buses to the hotels, as Air Algérie plane transferred 250 pilgrims, some of them belong to the officla Hajj mission and 130 belong to Annadjeh Agency in Algiers, and nearly 40 bags of pilgrims evaporated, and they were promised to find their bags at the Saraya El Imane Hotel, but nothing is realised.
