Hundreds of Kabylia villagers track down GSPC terrorists to free hostage

The inhabitants of 6 villages around the city of Tizi Ouzou in eastern Algeria have decided to give a helping hand to their fellow citizens of the nearby village of “Beni Koufa” in a bid to secure the early release of an elderly entrepreneur named Hassani Ali who was abducted earlier this week by terrorists belonging to the Salafist Group for Preaching and Combat –GSPC-.

  • The 80 – year hapless old man was kidnapped on March 22nd near his family house and his farm located in the area called “Azaghar”.
  •
  • Sources on the spot told the newspaper Echorouk that an ad-hoc village committee in Beni Koufa had launched an emergency call on all the surrounding village inhabitants to get together and to pool their efforts in a bid to hunt down those terrorists who were behind the kidnapping of “Ammi Ali”.
  •
  • The callous GSPC terrorists have demanded an astronomical ransom in exchange of the release of their hostage.
  •
  • But the villagers are firmly intent on wrenching the release of the elderly hostage by applying the maximum pressure on the terrorists to make them give in by setting free Ammi Ali safe and sound.
  •
  • It should be noted that previous popular mobilizations on the part of thousands of villagers in the eastern Kabylia region succeeded in securing the release of several captives abducted by GSPC terrorists over the past few years.
