Hyundai To Start Vehicles' Production Soon Eastern Algeria

Production of Hyundai trucks and buses will start soon in Batna (eastern Algeria), according to the partnership agreement with the Koreans, who visited the factory that is located in the industrial zone of Kechida several months ago, General Manager of the join company with Hyundai, Hassane Arbaoui, said on Sunday.

“60 engineers and technicians are working on putting the final touches to produce the first bus that will be awarded to the team CA Batna, as it will join the first professional league of the wilaya of Batna, while 21 trucks will be produced every day to reach the production capacity of 20,000 and 25,000 vehicles per year, as some of them will be directed to export to some Arab and African countries.”

Governor of Batna asserted that Hyundai Batna project was prepared in standard conditions, as the ground-based institution in the old bricks’ company was granted in six months, as it is one of the 85 industrial projects that were approved by the government for inclusion in the productive investment in the value-added framework.
