I will be ready for match against Uruguay, says Algeria’s Helliche
Algeria’s defender Rafik Helliche was injured in his ankle in a friendly match between Portuguese C.D. Nacional and an English team in Croatia.
-
Helliche told Echorouk his injury is not grave. “We played in a friendly match on Saturday in Croatia. A few minutes later, I felt my ankle hurting. “Though I was able to continue the match, the team’s doctor asked to replace me fearing of more complications.”
-
“Anyway, I am supposed to play for Algeria in the friendly match against Uruguay on August 12th,” he said.
-
Doctors examined him on Monday to check out if his injury is grave. The team’s doctor is expected to inform him on Tuesday about how long he would not play for the team.

Helliche is playing for Algeria in the qualifying matches to the World Cup 2010.
