Security forces in the province of Boumerdes have recently arrested a terror support cell operating abroad and working for ISIS, Echorouk has learnt.

The cell includes three 20-year-old elements living in Boudouaou in Boumerdes. They planned to join ISIS by going to Turkey before reaching  Syria and Iraq.

Most of the arrested cells in Boumerdes operated in Boudouaou because some of its residents reached Syria and joined ISIS. Earlier, a cybecafe owner and tens of young people were arrested. They were introduced in court in Boumerdes.

They told judges they had visited Facebook pages which call for joining ISIS.

A group of women was also arrested as they planned to join jihad an-nikah. They were led by a terrorist’s wife.
