Islamic Preacher Mohamed Hassan to Echorouk: “Stop fighting Algerian Martyrs’ nation! “
Cheikh Mohamed Hassan

Egyptian Islamic preacher Mohamed Hassan called on terrorists in Algeria on Wednesday to give up their acts as Islam is against the killing of Muslims.

  • A number of Islamic preachers and scholars have visited Algeria. What are your comments?
  • Algeria is known for welcoming preachers. Our preachers have already come to this beautiful country such as Cheikh Chaaraoui, Abdelhalim Mahmoud and Cheikh Karadaoui. They were proud of visiting the country of martyrs because “martyrdom” is always linked to high knowledge and high spirituality.
  • Don’t you think that your visit should have been paid a long time ago or it is part of your support in the National Reconciliation endeavour?
  • I have to say that my visit to Algeria is late. I wish I came here a long time ago but as you know we can not move if we do not receive an official invitation. If I am invited to pay a visit to Algeria once again, I would cancel all my appointments to come there.
  • My presence here is part of my support in the National Reconciliation endeavour approved buy the Algerian government. I urged officials to go ahead and to not stop their endeavours blessed by Allah All Mighty.
  • What can you say to religion scholars in the world about Algeria?
  • I call on religion scholars in Egypt and Saudi Arabia to visit Algeria as soon as possible to meet its people, listen to them and teaching them about religion.
  • What do you think about your visit to Algeria?
  • This visit, which I hope it will be paid once again, will remain an unforgettable event in my career. I liked its nature and mountains and I like more the hearty welcome I received from my brothers in Algeria.
  • As you come from Egypt, the Algerians and the Egyptians are impatiently waiting for the important match Algeria vs Egypt. What are your comments?
  • This match is no more than a football game between two brother and friend peoples separated by geographical borders only. They belong to the same nation i.e the Muslim one. The most important thing is to meet brothers and friends.
