Jobless people to benefit from monthly wage in Algeria

Algeria will grant 6,000 DZ to unemployed people per month as part of its national solidarity policy. This decision will touch every needy person aged between 18 and 40.

• According to an executive decree, the government has set up a new system of actions called social integration activities meant to create jobs for destitute people.
• Selected applicants will benefit from activities of social and public profit character especially in agriculture, handicrafts, tourism, environment and maintenance.
• The decree says they will have social security in case of disease, maternity, work accidents and professional diseases.
• They should submit their applications at social activity departments where they live.
• Selection commissions will be in charge of studying the applications and select appropriate sectors for the applicants upon a decision from the solidarity minister.
• The integration period is limited in one year and can be renewed once in return for a monthly compensation estimated at 6,000 DZ.
