Jomanah Murad between family problems and “Bab Al Harah”

Syrian actress Jomanah Murad has turned down an offer to star in the new film “Lilbay’” (For Sale), staring Egyptian actors Hasan Hosny, Mahmoud Qabeel and Shireen Rida. The new film is directed by Iz Al Deen Sa’eed.

• According to the London daily Elaph, Jomanah had to turn down the offer because of her urgent trip to Syrian to handle some family problems.
• The producer of the film, Safwat Ghatas, may cast the actress Sandy instead, said Jomanah.
•  Jomanah will star in the famous Syrian drama series “Bab Al Harah” (The Neighborhood Gate), directed by Basam Al Mala.
• Jomanah’s latest film “Al Farah” (Celebration) was screened in Cairo on 6 June at the Nile City Cinema.  Jomanah and the entire film crew attended.
