The Algerian international Karim Matmour has indicated that the “Greens†are aware of the task ahead of the decisive match in Cairo stadium versus the “Pharaohs†that will book a ticket for the World Cup in Group C.

Bourussia Manchengladbach striker went on saying that playing before 80 thousands fans was extremely difficult, but it is a double razor edge for both squads. As beneficial it could be for the Egyptians to play before their fans, as motivating it would be for the “Greens” and assure their qualification in the supreme football competition.

He insisted on the fact that the match will be strenuous for both squads” We are aware about our duty in Cairo and we are not afraid at all because we posses a strong team, but we have to concentrate on the pitch and impose our style”.

He further added “ We respect the “Pharaohs” , but are not afraid of them since we have the required abilities to handle the two times African Champions”.

Karim Matmour has indicated that the Greens are not afraid of Cairo Stadium’s pressure because most of the players are used to these circumstances in their respective European Leagues, adding that they have acquired a capital of experience and a strong mental force, putting forth the reaction of the “Greens” after the sudden goal scored by the Rwandans last Sunday in Blida stadium.

We have all the abilities to win in Cairo and thinking about securing the away match’s score would be a great mistake”.
