Kathem Al Saher opposes violence in Jordan

The famous Iraqi artist Kathem Al Saher was upset when he witnessed violent behavior on the part of several security guards during his recent performance at the ‘Jordanian Festival.’

• A fan tried to come up on stage while Al Saher was singing to try and have a white T-shirt autographed, and a number of security guards dragged him off of the stage.
• The 17-year old fan sustained moderate injuries to his face.
• Al Saher was shocked and said over the microphone, “Guys that’s mean,” and then knelt down to pick up the T-shirt from the ground.
• At another point during the concert a group of fans went up on stage and shook Al Saher’s hand.
•  The security guards also had to interfere when a fight erupted between several fans. 
• Al Saher tried to calm the situation by singing some of is greatest songs.
