Laila Iskander refuses to sing

The Lebanese artist Laila Iskander was a guest on the radio channel “Sawt Al Ghad” (Sound Of Tomorrow) and talked about her newest project which she is still in the process of preparing for.

 

  • Laila refused to sing live, and told the radio DJ to play one of her songs instead. Laila was upset with the owner of the radio station Mr. Wadee Abu Jodeh, but she did not say any details about the dispute she was only satisfied with not singing live.
  • According to the London daily Elaph, Laila denied rumors that she’ll be hosting and presenting a new television show. She stressed that she is only a singer and that she is working on a new Lebanese song that is written and composed by Salim Asaf. She also mentioned that she might release a new Khaliji “Gulf countries dialect” song in the near future.
