Medical sources told Echorouk that the only survivor of last February’s military air crash which caused 77 dead in the region of Aïn M’lila in eastern Algeria, is now out of the intensive – care unit in view of his improving health condition after being steeped into a deep coma due to serious head and breast injuries.

The same sources said that the lone survivor of the fatal air disaster which occurred on 11th February 2014, namely Djelloul Nemiri aged 21 and hailing from the western province of Chlef, had now been transferred to another medical unit for sustained rehabilitation treatment after nearly a one month-long coma period.

Well-meaning managers of the military hospital of Ali Mendjili of the city of Constantine have meanwhile decided to ensure free transport for family members of Djelloul Nemiri starting from Chlef to Constantine thus allowing them to pay him regular visits in hospital so as to inquire on the spot about his evolving health condition.

Despite the fact that hospital patient, Djelloul Nemiri, is not yet able to speak, his health condition is now better and is out of danger, according to the same sources.
