General Secretary of the Workers’ Party, Louisa Hanoun, promised in a popular gathering in the house of culture on Saturday, to open borders with Morocco if she will be elected as Algeria President.

“If you will vote for me, I will open the borders with Morocco because our immunity is our neighbors … and Algeria needs to raise more barriers than ever with the neighboring Morocco, in order to neutralize the ticking bombs which target the Arab countries … “
“I promise to be Algeria’s Hugo Chavez in the future , and I will have the same leading, democratic and progressive role, which I performed when he unified all the oppressed countries in Latin America, even Colombia which is known for drugs”, in a clear indication that Morocco and its declared war to sink Algeria with drugs.
“We will play the same role that was played by the late Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, and we will build the large Maghreb and unite the Arab peoples and Kabilian Amazigh. We’ll combat drugs with other forms. The scourge of smuggling will not stand in the future without building a strong Morocco to combat imperialism. I promise to do like the star of North Africa. We are determined to use the traditions of North Africa Star because it united the peoples in the liberation fight and why not in making economic and cultural progress”.
Louiza Hanoune openly accused some candidates of trying to burn Algeria if they will fail in the elections of April 17, in a clear reference to the candidate Benflis, and called upon citizens of Telemcen (western Algeria) to isolate advocates of sedition and not to vote for them, saying: ” Defeat those who threaten to burn the country if they will not win”.
“I promised to abolish the existing family law which it oppresses Algerian women and replace it with civil laws, which devote the principle of true equality between women and men, saying: “If you vote for me with a comfortable majority, I will restore the rights of women completely, and return a call to the people through the organization of prior legislative elections, because the current parliament is a forged parliament, which does not represent the Algerian people”.
