Algerians should be careful about being misled by the calls that made from tomorrows’ elections synonymous with chaos, leader of what was known as “Islamic Salvation Army” said, Madani Mezrague, said in a letter, which copy is available to Echorouk.
“Voters should express their positions peacefully, by boycotting or participating or voting with a white paper”, in a very important advice of great symbolism, being issued by the man who was a party to the security crisis that gripped the country in the nineties.
In the position described as “negative”, Mezrag called upon Algerians, saying : “I will not force you to vote, because the election day, in an escape forward, which extended the life of the crisis and does not end it. I will not invite you to boycott the elections, as you had boycotted it a long time, but to no avail. I will not encourage you to participate with the white paper, as you already have done so in the 2012 elections, and you were the first power, but it was without vain, neither authority nor the opposition acknowledged your presence.”
“You refused to be one of those three, and you decided to participate creating your destiny, by determining you position of the elections, so be free and honest, and do it with you convenience and your choice, and be sure to use your voice with correct methods, and peaceful means, and within the legitimate frameworks. You should never respond to calls for anarchy, arson and vandalism, because the owners of these calls, wherever they are, they can only fish in troubled waters”.
“Programs that were presented by the candidates, do not constitute a solution for the killing crisis that prevailed in our country, but are rather solutions to futile problems, and inevitable results of institutional and moral chaos, in which the system is sinking.”
“Abdelaziz Bouteflika is ill and cannot even speak and stand up, though, the nerve affecting their differences, agreed to force him to stay, and the dominant parties, which are in conflict and division, united in his support, and all major organizations favors his continuation and insist on his success. If we have agreed that the interest of the country lies in his withdrawal, they have decided it in his continuity, and this is their opinion”.
