Maj. Gen. Gaid Saleh: “This Stage Requires Us To Maintain The Utmost Vigilance”

Deputy Minister of National Defence, Chief of Staff of the National People’s Army, Maj. Gen. Ahmed Guaid Saleh, gave a set of instructions and directives, which included the need to continue the advanced qualitative training and make more effort to acquire the necessary skills for the good control of methods and equipment.

“Not only for the purpose of access to operational readiness in the upper grades, but to keep this high level of professionalism, especially since this stage forces us all to maintain the utmost vigilance in order to maintain the security and stability of Algeria, in the fulfilment of the values ​​of our glorious revolution and sacrifices of our martyrs.”

Statement of the Ministry of National Defence said; “Fifth and last day of the working visit by the Deputy Minister of National Defence, to the third military region in Bechar (southern Algeria), is characterized with visiting and inspection of some units of the region. After overseeing the implementation of the exercise of real shooting on its three stages, Maj. Gen. Guaid Saleh devoted this visit to the third military region for the inspection of some units of the region accompanied with the Major-General Said Chenkriha, the region’s commander.”

“First, he visited the regiment 26 of tanks, where the Maj. Gen. Guaid Saleh watched a presentation by the commander of this unit on the general condition of all operational aspects, achievements, living conditions and the establishment of individuals.”

“Maj. Gen. Guaid Saleh checked out the various administrative and teaching facilities, like driving tanks and firing simulator, which is the pedagogical, modern and efficient way to help the tank’s crew to improve performance.”

“Second field visit led him to the hospital of the southern operational sector in Tindouf, which is fully equipped, to provide all forms of health insurance, including various surgical operations”.
