Makri: “France achieved more than it had yearned for on onset of Algeria's independence”
Mr Abderrazak Makri, the leader of the Movement for a Society of Peace (MSP), said on Sunday that the French colonial strategy after our hard-won independence designed to take control of Algeria economically and culturally, has achieved more than planned.
Mr Makri wrote on his Facebook page on the occasion of the feast of victory coinciding with 19 March 1962, that “that date was the launching-pad for colonialism to start the neo-colonial strategy designed to keep Algeria attached to it culturally and economically, and I think France has reaped results of this malicious strategy more than it had dreamt of”.
According to the MSP leader, this occasion was the opportunity for a lot of what he called “lackeys”, “cowards” and “Black Feet” to join unexposed and covertly the ranks of the victorious Algerian Mujahideen or freedom fighters after the advocates of colonialism stated that their forceful stay in Algeria was over.
He further called for the pursuance of “the fight against colonialism and their lackeys with no respite in various fields, stressing that such a battle remains in this regard a battle of understanding and awareness”.
