May Al Hariri prosecuted for kidnapping her daughter

The Lebanese artist May Al Hariri may be sentenced to jail for six months for allegedly kidnapping her own daughter Sarah.

• Sarah’s father, engineer Osama Shaban, who has full custody of their daughter, claims that May took Sarah outside of Lebanon without his permission.
• Osama asserts that May’s career in the music business, which requires travel makes her unfit to be a mother.
•  May denies the allegations and said that she is wiling to make any necessary sacrifices for her daughter, even if it requires giving up her mucis career.
•  This is not the first time that May is facing custody battle.  She fought with her first husband for custody of their daughter oldest daughter Manal and lost.
•  When May divorced her second husband Lebanese musician Melhim Barakat, their son Melhim Junior went to live with his father, who was granted custody.
