May Al Hariri prosecuted for kidnapping her daughter
The Lebanese artist May Al Hariri may be sentenced to jail for six months for allegedly kidnapping her own daughter Sarah.

Sarah’s father, engineer Osama Shaban, who has full custody of their daughter, claims that May took Sarah outside of Lebanon without his permission.

Osama asserts that May’s career in the music business, which requires travel makes her unfit to be a mother.
- May denies the allegations and said that she is wiling to make any necessary sacrifices for her daughter, even if it requires giving up her mucis career.
- This is not the first time that May is facing custody battle. She fought with her first husband for custody of their daughter oldest daughter Manal and lost.
- When May divorced her second husband Lebanese musician Melhim Barakat, their son Melhim Junior went to live with his father, who was granted custody.
