Military Institution Launches The Selling Of Mercedes Benz Utilitarian Vehicles

Armed forces are betting on the mixed partnership within the large project to produce more than 20,000 industrial “Mercedes-Benz” cars, during the current year, in order to shift towards leading the mechanical industry, in accordance with the applicable standards in the German giant factories “Daimler”, while the field of product marketing opened officially for private companies, before expanding it to export.

Sources from the Ministry of Defense told Echorouk that the light and heavy cars’ factories of “Mercedes Benz” seeks to reduce the percentage of imports by covering 80% of the national cars’ market, and raise the production by 2020, and the marketing will include the private properties and citizens within 2016/2017, before expanding the production to exportation abroad, which will allow the creation of thousands of jobs for the benefit of jobless citizens, to reach the level of a real industrial base.

Same sources said that the work with “CKD1” system, which raises the productive capacity of Rouiba factory to 16,500 cars will contribute more in the full activation of the chain of production between 2018 and 2019, as it is expected that the company will produce over 2,123 trucks and buses of various items in 2016, and increase the number to 15,000 trucks and 1,500 buses per year, while the production of the utilitarian cars will increase in Tiaret factory for the latest generation of “Mercedes-Benz” to nearly 6,000 vehicles of the type “Sprinter” and 2,000 cars of type of “Claps-ing”, with a total of 8,000 Cars.
