Mohamed Abdou Bouderbala: “Hajj Costs Will Not Increase”

General Manager of Air Algérie, Mohamed Abdou Bouderbala, revealed, Sunday, on the decision of not increasing the tickets’ price for the Hajj season 2017, confirming the allocation of four additional planes to transport visitors to the House of Allah (holy sites), so as to avoid the registration of any delay in the flights.

Bouderbala, told Echorouk, on Sunday, that the preparations for the pilgrimage season 2017 is underway, explaining that the completion of the flight program will be soon.

“Air Algérie is likely to allocate three or four flights a day, and our services are studying the financial impact that can covere the activity of the company during the pilgrimage season”.

“Air Algérie allocate four additional aircraft to transport pilgrims from Algeria to Medina and Mecca, in order to avoid the delayed flights. We give great importance to the file of transporting pilgrims, like we did each year through allocating planes to transport visitors to the holy sites only, so as to avoid the registration of any delay in the flights, and we hire planes after the organization of an international tender for the transfer of pilgrims with the approaching of the hajj season’s deadline for the current year.

In a related context, he refuted the rumors about raising the tickets’ price for the of Hajj season 2017, and assured the pilgrims, saying: “Hajj tickets will not know a rise this year, which is 120.000 DZD, because it was lifted last year”, which It means that there will be no increase, which is the same thing for other tickets to many capitals and cities of the world.
