The MSP Movement leader, Abderrazak Mokri, has accused the power establishment in Algeria of using the Salafists as an instrument with the aim of winning its battles against those resolute militants who struggle for God Almighty and the Nation.

Mokri said that these rightful struggling militants were being denied by the ruling establishment of exercising their right to political activity while turning a blind eye to the wrongdoers immersed into blameworthy corruption practices.

The MSP leader added that these nefarious corrupt people who engage in their misdeeds in all impunity, were brought to center stage on some media outlets during the election period by practicing politics at will without being bothered by anyone thanks to the prior blessing of the complacent rulers.

This came in a commentary posted on Sunday in Facebook entitled: “Lost nation, between tyrants, Sufism and Salafist Djihadists” by Abderrazak Mokri who brought into focus the warped and ambiguous relationship between the Sufi and Salafist trends with the power establishment in Algeria.

The MSP leader found a close similarity for this relationship with that of Egyptian Field Marshall Abdelfatah El Sissi with the Sufi and Salafist trends in Egypt, a warped relationship dictated by sheer political and electioneering purposes, according to Abderrazak Mokri.

He added that the authoritarian regime was using a double – standard policy in order to “tame” and “assuage” these trends and ward off genuine political party militancy which could spawn a popular insurrection against injustice, marginalization and deprivation.
