Moroccan drug smugglers recruit prostitutes to penetrate the Algerian security checkpoints

Security investigations reveal that smugglers from Algeria and Morocco continue their alliance to ensure the passage of the traffickers towards the two countries, using beautiful women of the Red Oasis in order to attract the border guards in the different checkpoints and smuggle tons of drugs to poison the Algerians.

• Tibelballa is a region in Bechar, south of Algeria, where smugglers meet and sell drugs.
• Drugs that come from the far region of Adrar, south of Algeria, are smuggled from Mauritania over Adrar, Ougerout, El Mnia, Hassi Lafhale, then Tougourt and Oued Souf in order to be incorporated to Lybia before being transferred to Egypt and the Middle East or other regions of the world, especially Europe and France.
• Sources familiar with the file of drug smuggling said that the drug trafficking barons in Morocco tied relations with the Egyptian traffickers, as significant quantities of cannabis are smuggled from Morocco towards Bechar, south of Algeria, then Al Aouinet in the Libyan borders with Egypt to be transferred to other Arab countries notably Lebanon and Palestine.
• According to initial investigation, these smuggling cells relied on important financial, logistic and human means in order to transfer drugs.
• The use of Africans from the north of Mali in smuggling drugs and weapons is imperative given the difficulty of the task, as their role is exchanging goods between the smugglers in return for a lot of money.
• Drug barons used them because they are in close relations with the Sahel regions’ traffickers, and because they can adapt with the conditions of moving in the desert and their ability to speak dialects, thing which make it difficult for the security services to interrogate them.
