Nancy welcomes “Meela”

The Lebanese artist Nancy Ajram delivered her first baby named “Meela,” and baby and mother are both doing well. Meela arrived on Nancy’s birthday May 16th.

• Nancy chose to stay in the hospital for three days to make sure that her newborn is in great health.
• Nancy and her husband the famous Lebanese dentist Fadi Al Hashem named their baby an Arabic name that is popular in villages and small towns in Lebanon. “Meela” means a good tree that has many branches.
•  Nancy has finished recording a new song for her baby which she called “Ya Rabi Tkaber Meela” (Oh God Let Meela Grow), and the song was aired on Lebanese radio.
