New film by Merna Al Muhandis

Egyptian actress Merna Al Muhandis will star in a new film called “Youm Ma Tabelna” (The Day We Met).

• According to the London daily Elaph, Merna’s return to cinema comes after a long absence.  Her last film “Al Eyal Harabat” (The Kids Ran Away) also starred Hamadah Hilal.
• Merna was initially supposed to make a guest appearance in the new film, but then the director decided to make her one of the main characters.
•  In the near future Merna will finished another film called “The Academy” staring Wama Team and Ola Ghanem. She will also star in a new television drama series to be aired during the upcoming Ramadan season.
