New legal measures to fight against art trafficking in Algeria

A top national gendarmerie officer declared that contraband is the most serious crime that the different security service has to deal with, which requires a close cooperation between all sectors to face this dangerous phenomenon.
In this respect, Mrs Hannane Ben Yaakoub the day before yesterday made a lecture in which she presented the latest legal measures to fight against trafficking, as part of a program dedicated police officers from various localities including, Algiers, Boumerdes, Tipaza, Blida and Bouira.
The lecturer insisted on the importance of the mastery of all legal aspects by police officers for an effective fight against trafficking, especially that the smugglers’ networks are using a state to the art technologies to slip through the security nests.
