New taxes to be imposed on businessmen who refuse to hire the sons and daughters of the people!

The Ministry of vocational training is set to work out a new draft law on apprenticeship meant to facilitate and to simplify the procedures for apprentices by protecting and guaranteeing their rights on the one hand, and enabling economic institutions to benefit from their acquired skills by virtue of their sustained training in a genuine professional environment on the other hand.

In so doing, the relevant authorities have vowed to impose taxes and fees on those economic companies that refuse to hire skillful apprentices while the government will cover the payment of bonuses for those enterprises which will recruit at least 10 workers who have wound up their vocational training period as part of the government’s ongoing efforts to curb unemployment notably among the Algerian youth.

The new draft law on the matter will clearly define the relationship between the apprentice and the economic enterprise and the role to be played by the apprenticeship teacher in the whole training and integration process.
