No final decision about « hard professions »

Secretary General of the General Union of Algerian Workers Abdelmadjid Sidi Said refused to make remarks about a debate raised about « hard professions. » « There has benn no definitive decision so far. Meetings are held to fix the real list of hard professions, » he told Echorouk.

Sidi Said did not give details about the meetings, saying that the issue is sensitive and meticulus. « We will unveil all the ersults at the right time. There has been no final decision so far. You will know everything at the right time. »

This comes as media reports said many professions were ranked among « hard jobs » including teaching, farming and mining. Three criteria were determined to decide which profession is « hard. » There are : extra time, exposure to diseases and workplace temperature.
